Our Directors have successfully promoted and gained planning consent for a 5 star Resort Hotel and Championship Golf Course; a Casino Development in Glasgow and have advised on the hotel refurbishment at Glasgow Central. We have also advised fast food chains and sports betting companies on their High Street portfolios.

Tourist development can be seen as a welcome addition to the rural economy, but planning issues will arise in relation to setting; layout; design; extensive parking and access routes; delivery vehicles; building materials and sources; landscaping; biodiversity and the overall sustainability of the rural project. Closely working with local authorities and fully addressing the planning issues enabled us to be supported by the Councils and within the communities.

We have worked with local authorities to allow improved access to the countryside through integration of new path networks for walkers, mountain bikers and horse riding groups in relation to onshore wind development.
